Is there nothing that Fox News will not politicize? Because Christmas has nothing to do with politics. Hell, it doesn’t even have much to do with religion anymore, but Fox News is making it look like all of us non-Christians hate Christmas and want to get rid of it. But the fact is, we don’t. And I am insulted, to be quite honest. Fox News has made me, and others like me, out to be a group of close minded people who hate Christianity. When we really don’t.
In fact, it’s Fox News that is a group of close minded people who hate everyone who isn’t Christian. That’s essentially what is is about. It isn’t a war on Christmas, it’s Fox News’ war on minorities. Muslims, Jews, Atheists, the list goes on. This is just another part of the Fox News hate machine.
Creating hate is something that Fox News has perfected. Since many of their viewers are white, male, Christians, what better way to make them hate other groups than to claim that we are attacking one of their most cherished holidays? I’m an Atheist, and I celebrate Christmas. I know it isn’t very Atheist of me, but I don’t celebrate it for religious reasons, I celebrate it because of what it’s about. And I really don’t have a problem with celebrating Jesus’ birthday.
Sure, I don’t buy into the whole “son of God” stuff, but Jesus was a pretty good guy. He encouraged helping the less privileged, he preached lessons of peace, the list goes on. The thing is, he was an Arab, hippie, socialist. Everything the Republicans hate, which is ironic. Since what the Republicans hate, Fox News hates. So why does Fox News not hate the fact that we even celebrate his birthday? I mean, last time I checked, we don’t celebrate the birthdays of people we don’t like.
But Fox News just doesn’t understand. They try to paint this as something that it’s not, and it’s because they are stupid and unintelligent. They really just want to divide the population. They want the Christians to hate everyone else, and they’re doing a pretty good job creating hate. After all, it’s what they do.
Create lies to create hate. It’s a vicious cycle.

You know, I reread sections of older bibles and Jesus said his father was Joseph instead of God. Gee I wonder what people did with the bible between those centuries.
I’m a Muslim, I celebrate Christmas. It’s my favorite holiday, I don’t care what religion it is associated with, anyone can celebrate whatever they want.
